Outline

Once your Webex account is connected to the Intellum platform, the ability to create Webex meetings or webinars as events in the platform is available to you as an admin or activity facilitator.

This article walks you through creating Webex events in the platform as an admin or activity facilitator.

Admin experience

Admin will find Webex Meeting and Webex Webinar listed as event types on the New Event page.

Follow these steps to create a Webex meeting or Webex webinar:

  1. Create a new event by adding an event to a new or existing scheduled activity.
  2. Fill in the event details - the event's name, start time, and end time (based on the duration you set) will be used to create your event.
  3. Select Webex Meeting or Webex Webinar as the Type.
  4. Add further information to the event - as needed.
  5. Click Save to create the Webex meeting.

Note: Facilitators for Webex meetings and webinars must have authorized the Webex integration on their individual user profiles.

Edit Webex meeting settings

After a Webex meeting is created, you'll find an Edit Settings link added to the event page in the platform. Use this link for direct access to the meeting settings in your Webex account.

Heads Up!

Ensure you are logged in to Webex before using the Edit Settings link from within the Intellum Platform.

Clicking the link while logged out directs you to a Webex page requesting a meeting password. You'll then have to sign in to Webex and locate the meeting manually within your account.
